Labor candidate Clare O'Neil has pledged $3 million towards a new grandstand and pavillion at Jack Edwards Reserve.
The new the facilities will benefit the club's junior, women's and senior program.
Club chairman Kon Kavalakis says the club is honoured by this and that it will benefit the whole Oakleigh community.
"This is a vision the club has for improving its facilities," Mr Kavalakis said.
"We are very honoured and appreciative of Ms O'Neil pledging this towards the club.
"This will service the whole club from the seniors right down to the juniors.
"It will also cater for our women's program, which we weren't able to do before this."
