Oakleigh Cannons FC striker Harry White has signed a three-year extension with the club after break-out 2019 season.
White led from the front in 2019 and looks forward to an exciting 2020, where he believes the club will be serious contenders for silverware.
White says the players are hungrier than ever to achieve success after falling short in the NPL Victoria Semi-Finals last season – with the players eyeing a top-two finish in 2020.
“It’s such a big goal now for this club now to win a championship and we really believe we can,” he said.
“It’s the least the club deserves the club is great, the amount being put in behind the scenes and off and on the pitch a trophy would be absolutely massive and fully deserved if we get one.
“We have a real good bunch, we’ve got a really good side that can create a lot of chances. I’m hoping for a good season for myself to score as many goals as I can as well.
“It shows how good the club is and the comradery that most of us has stayed, last year it took a while for most of us to gel and I think we can get going from the start this year.”
