Oakleigh Cannons FC are excited to announce the signing of experienced central-defender Blair Govan on a two-year contract.
Govan played 24 games For Sorrento SC and Floreat Athena in Western Australia before joining Hume City.

“I’m over the moon, it’s a change I felt I needed and it’s come at a good time for me,” Govan said.
“I’m just really looking forward to getting on with it.”
Govan added he was excited to be playing with an experienced squad in 2019.
“With the team that’s been put together, it’s always the aim to be gunning for all trophies from the NPL to the FFA Cup,” he said.
“We’re all here and we’ve all got the same intentions to win some trophies, so I’m really looking forward to it.
“I’m really excited to be working with Chris Taylor. He’s won the league a few times and he knows what he’s doing.
“He seems to have assembled a good group of boys together, so I think it’s something that’s going to help me grow as a player. I’m really looking forward to it.”
